I've been asking around, and in the fediverse, I was pointed to bazzite.gg, which looks really interesting. Seems very game oriented with alot of support.

If the rumors about Windows 12 are true, I might need to go Linux Distro Diving again.

I know theres some game specific ones like Steam's own OS but I also want to find something somewhat similar to the windows I remember.

I know there's Zorin OS and Linux Mint but what else is out there?

Oh yeah! It's Macro March! One of my favorite times of the year... For obvious reasons.

It's a time of different perspectives, whether you're looking up at a giant, or looking down at folks so small, I like to see the artwork of such.

Well uh... I got my eye exam results and... HOOH BOY. Yeah... I definitely needed a stronger prescription. It's so bad that a high index lens is the only viable option.

Streams will be on a brief pause as I'll be having an eye exam tomorrow, and those usually mess with my eyes for a while afterwards, due to dilation and stuff.

I'm against Telegram for personal, privacy and security reasons. Ever since the old CEO got arrested, Telegram has been bending over for just about every government request.

Honestly, so many things popped up out of nowhere, the timing is 'kinda' suspicious if you ask me. I'll follow where my friends go but I'm not completely abandoning discord until I have to.

You know, this is perhaps the weirdest thought I've had in a while, but revisiting Space and Jet Shoot'em'Up games. Apparently there used to be Anthropomorphized ships named Opa-Opa and TwinBee.

This has me pondering the idea of a Space Furry that is somehow their own fighter ship.

So my eye exam is delayed. The first place I went for didn't accept my insurance. So it looks like I'll be heading to walmart for new glasses. I do have to wonder, in my situation, should I go for Polycarbonate? or Hi-index?

I'm going to finally be getting a new eyeglass prescription soon. This will help me not just in real life but in streaming as well, since I'll have an easier time reading chat.

Though because it has been a long time, what kind of stuff should I look for? (My current lenses are stupid thick.)

The problem with Matrix servers is that it largely depends on the person or people hosting and running it. If it goes down, or if the host decides to pack up and leave... Well that's that.

A server however can be self-hosted, but I haven't the knowledge nor a server to do that with.

I guess one option would be to return to the Fediverse and join a Matrix server. Unlike Discord, you can connect to that with different clients as you choose with different benefits, all of which have end-to-end encryption by default.

But where would I find a furry friendly matrix server?

I guess I'm going to have to look for an alternative to @discord.com if this goes through.

This age verification slop does little to actually resolve anything, and I rather not have my biometrics stolen from a first, second, nor third party.

So I had a weird gimmick for a vtuber come to mind. Imagine an 80s, early 90s cartoon animal, in their own cartoon world, who came across a console from the present era. From their standpoint the best graphics they've seen is probably Arcade or Early SNES/MD. Their mind is about to be blown.

Does anyone else remember the HBO Space Logo? Apparently it was from '82, before I was even around, and yet somehow, it's still very memorable.

Even now it's still very eye-catching, along with the music that played with it.

I'm weak for love songs, and it has the pure 80s vibe and instrumentals, something I feel can't be replicated now.

You know what bothers me?

I'm trying to look through minecraft modpacks on curseforge, but the more recent ones have Gross Generated Logos. It's that unnatural smoothness that looks gross, like using 2xSai in an emulator bad. It's either that or the logo looks like a generic sports team. WHY?

That said, there's just song genres I don't vibe with, I either just feel nothing... or with the case of dubstep get physically sick.

I guess that's also why I like repetitive music when I work on projects and stuff, it just goes and I go with the flow of it?

Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic, but 80's love songs and break-up songs just hits different.

I'm also sensitive to music so my mood shifts heavily. I could be neutral one moment, and in tears the next.

It's kinda embarrassing when it happens in public but what can I do?
