Yeah iron deficiency can do all sorts of things, our oldest had low iron and it was causing strange but minor symptoms. But the biggest thing is that like with all phases, it ultimately will pass (even if it feels like forever when you’re in it) and he’ll be just fine. Hope he grows out of it quick.
Our kid had them only occasionally. I know it’s extremely upsetting to listen to but they’re ok. Best advice is make sure they get to bed on time/get plenty of sleep. And we found that it was better to wait to console them until they’re out of it.
It’s just stunning. Photos I took there are among my most favorite I’ve ever taken.
Went 9 years ago so don’t have specific restaurants. Really enjoyed Himeji Castle. Make time for walking around Tokyo and letting serendipity happen, pop into a random ramen shop or store or cafe. Learn enough Japanese to say hello, thank you, please, etc. comfortably. Japan is wonderful.
