This is awesome - thank you! Every jurisdiction is different & it's impossible to keep it straight. Fyi there is disagreement in the article bwtn the text & chart regarding glossy wrapping paper - text says it can't be recycled, chart says it can.

I call the police non-emergency number for this. They will send parking enforcement (eventually...)

Pork Barrel is showing the game too.
Copy of an open 311 request for a red Kia blocking the sidewalk
One of my weird hobbies is reading 311 requests. This was submitted a few days ago. A serial offender ๐ก
Done! That indeed was very easy. Thank you
Sorry to hear this but good luck on what's next for you. I've really enjoyed your coverage. You clearly put a lot of work into covering our city.
Some of Lynhaven lost power, but not all. Mine just flickered many times. There have been many sirens going down E Glebe, so maybe a crash?
Could be a perk to offer to Alxnow Press Club members
That link is broken
Stinkhorns! I have them in my beds too
I've seen this before and it makes me so mad. I just put in a 311 request.
Thank you for posting this. My water pressure is low & this might be why.
I agree that stretch is less egregious than a road with sidewalks. That said, speeding kills and I support fines. If you don't want to pay, don't speed. I wish ALX could have cameras like this. I'm tired of watching folks speed around kids on bikes & in crosswalks on their way to school.
That's right next to Rock Creek trail and there are crosswalks throughout that stretch so i don't buy that. But the road design (eg multiple lanes) doesn't vibe with the speed limit, for sure
For me, the thought of killing someone is a good enough incentive to keep my speed in check. If a $200 ticket is what it takes for others, that's fine by me.
Wholeheartedly agree. That street design is criminal.
I prefer general admission because I like to dance/gesticulate wildly.
I think these are fair points, but Ryan Reyna represents District A which is located on the eastern side of Alexandria.
E Del Ray Ave is back open - Not sure if SS is gone for good or just the holidays.
This seems like an interesting article for morning notes: wtop.com/consumer-new...
Thank you!
Great! Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out.
Where can I buy get this? Currently hauling Miller Extra Light (2.8% abv) back from PA but I'd love to buy something similar around here.
My favorite part of election day. Thank you, Cora Kelly PTA!
Sausage, potato & kale soup in a pot on the stove
Just made the same thing! Cream is coming. Thank you for the reminder that this is a great way to use the Parm rinds that I've been saving up.
yes! I was thinking the same thing. That location changes hands quite often ๐ค
Alexandria Fire Department deemed the buidling unsafe for occupancy due to a fire.
There was a fire on Saturday night.
I've had very good experiences with Aziz at Fair Appliance Repair: fairappliancerepair.com
Fyi on wait times if you're deciding on whether to spring for expedited processing: I renewed in mid-July without expedited processing, and I had my new passport in less than 30 days. I was happy I didn't spend the extra $60.
Tonight at the Hyundai dealer on Mount Vernon Ave in Del Ray. Cars parked on the sidewalk on both sides of the building on a beautiful evening. I'm so glad our City Council approved this until 2045.
