West Penwith coastal hike, day 2. St Just - St Ives. My favourite stretch of coast. Nice not to be running it for a change! But still hard work. The pasty and coffee in St Ives was monumental!

Perfect weather! Round here is my favourite part of Cornwall for walking and running. Just love the landscape and history. And yes, the section from Cape Cornwall to St Ives is probably the best (and toughest!) of the lot. Picked a good weekend for a long hike!

Looks like he’s just retired… at Hut 1, which would suggest he’s really not in a good way. Fingers crossed they can get some help up to him. Absolutely gutted for him!

Yeah, Eugeni dropping has sadly become a bit of a perennial Spine thing. Which has just made me more invested in him winning it this year! I’m sat willing his dot to start moving again…

He seems to have been in Hut 1 for a while now, with 2nd place having just left Byrness! Needs to get moving soon. Hope he’s alright. 🤞🏻
