This is a fast paced family drama that’s hard to put down. We follow twenty year old Remi as she becomes comfortable in her own skin and the truths she’s discovered. Sprinkled with Dutch proverbs it was a fun read.

This is a book lovers book and although I don’t know all the names mentioned, there are authors and books sprinkled in throughout this story. Being set around a bookshop is total catnip.

Catfish Rolling by Clara Kumagai
Beautiful inside and out. Themes of grief, loss and what it means to move on. I enjoyed the Japanese cultural references throughout. A nod to climate change and how nature can heal cracks in time. Not the type of book I usually read but very glad I did.
