The Amelia Project. Specifically, The 2018 World Audio Drama Day special, starring Percy, an underdeveloped character who wants to be in a better story.
This is the episode where I heard about Victoriocity.

About shoulder-length.
Lila is five foot three, about a hundred and twenty pounds, and has blonde hair and brown eyes. She prefers T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers, but she's comfortable dressing up when it's called for.

A little. She's worried Lila might hate her, but that's mostly because she has a guilty conscience.
Lila had a few enemies in high school, mostly because her natural curiosity could be off-putting. I'm planning a story where one of those enemies comes to Lila to hire her for a case.
She's fortunate that Lila has a "no hard feelings" attitude.

It's excellent! I highly recommend it!

This is Saga Anderson. She's a perfect encapsulation of Lila: Smart, compassionate, but don't mess with her family.
Lila would love a good roller coaster. She also likes good food.
#AwesomeCharacters
Lila's compassion and her strong moral code. If you can't imagine your version of Lila putting herself at risk to help someone in need, then you have missed the point of Lila.

Well, I'm sure this is all completely above board and definitely not shady as fuck.
Remember guys, ICE is only going after the criminals. Like people who have work visas and have broken no laws.

It really is. "Pop culture treasure hunt in a virtual world" is a solid basis for a story, but the author barely seems engaged with the pop culture at the core of the hunt. It's only referenced in the same a Wikipedia article would reference it.
My writer hot take for the day is that the amnesia trope is overhated. It isn't really a bad trope, it just rarely gets used to its full potential.

They end up as allies eventually. Even partners on occasion.
Lila's initial antagonist is, strange as it is, trying to play more of a mentor role to her. The Magpie is a Robin Hood style thief who wants Lila to understand who the real bad guys are.
She also didn't actually do the one theft Lila is trying to catch her for.

Listening to Rabbits and playing Persona 3 Reload.
Rabbits. A podcast about a woman investigating the disappearance of her friend, who went missing while playing a legendary ARG.
Playing the Life Is Strange games again in preparation for Life Is Strange: Reunion.
Also, my increasing hype for Resident Evil Requiem.
Depends on if they're the only two people in the theater or not. Lila has a great deal of patience for minor inconveniences done to her, but she wouldn't tolerate someone ruining the movie for others. If that were happening, she'd probably get an employee.

Anything that would stop us from wiping ourselves off the face of the planet gets me absolutely hyped.
Using a gif, who's your favorite female game character?
Listening to High Vaultage. It's an audiobook set in the world of Victoriocity.
Lila is in a unique position in this. She grew up working class, but she comes into money as her star as a detective rises. So she has more money, but her habit of appreciating a good bargain hasn't gone away.

Yeah. I also got a copy of one of the author's other books, "Charlotte Illes Is Not A Detective." Sadly, "Charlotte Illes Is Not A Teacher" wasn't in stock.
Listening to Out of the Loop (which I also got a physical copy of today, so I can tandem read in the future).
Name a video game you've put 500 hours into.
Playing Resident Evil 4 again. And listening to my audiobook of "Out of the Loop."
Yeah. It's a murder mystery about a woman who comes out of a time loop only to learn that a fellow tenant in her building was murdered while she was in it.
Playing Resident Evil 4 and listening to "Out of the Loop" by Katie Siegel.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is getting a sequel! Way to start the State of Play off with a bang, Sony!
