When the labor market is dependent on a one-legged stool, it falters when a shock occurs.

That is what we saw in the February employment report. A
major strike in the healthcare sector knocked the one leg the labor market was standing on out from under it. The red ink was broad based.

The Broken Yardstick: Why Your β€œHistoric” P/E Chart is Lying to You Comparing the S&P500 Valuation: Now vs Then

"Comparing the S&P500 PE ratio of today to that of the past is apples-to-oranges comparison. This common comparison assumes that the β€œE” (Earnings) in the 1990s and early 2000s measures the same thing as the β€œE” in 2025. It doesn’t."

Q&A with Cullen Roche, author of β€œYour Perfect Portfolio”

"When you sell stocks in a downturn you aren’t selling because you’re scared. You’re selling because you have an asset-liability mismatch. You don’t have enough cash and safe assets... to keep you comfortable and you sell stock because you need more cash."

Hegseth has an American flag pocket square. Of course there are far more clear and present dangers, but it was once understood that respect for the flag meant not turning it into articles of clothing.

Yep the sun is the largest nuclear fusion reactor earth has.

Built for free, most of the distribution & transmission done for free.

Massively reliable and if it stopped being so - it's game over anyway on this planet.

Solar is nuclear. Break it gently to your local "conservative"..

Yes, inflation is still here Headline PPI in December rose .5% m/o/m, well more than the estimate of up .2%.

"What continues to standout the most to me, especially in light of some who think that the worst of inflation/tariffs is over, is the core goods price gain of .4% m/o/m and now up 3.7% y/o/y."
