The industry might be dead, but it is actively being reborn every day by the efforts of us: the developers.

Today a friend gave me the revelation that in my bit to only watch the Denis Villeneuve Dune movies on a plane I had been participating in a larger bit where I EXCLUSIVELY watch Denis Villeneuve movies on a plane. I'm sorry for the disrespect sir it will continue.

So once it's written I'll see what part are most compelling and use that for the game. But for now I'm just hoping to write something this weekend, wish me luck lol #RPBri

The plan is still to write the full script and then go back and see where choices make sense. I don't think my writing is good enough for people to read 45-55 pages with only a few choices in between lmao #RPBri

Oh hey I have a tiny #RPBri
I have made a blood pact of accountability and it's gotten me to actually write. I'm now the successful owner of both character bios and a proper outline for the script. That was due this week, so the next step is to try and write the cold open.

I found a way to play Silent Hill f that didn't mean spending stupid money. No spoilers but God this game is beautiful and the music is so good and I can already feel the emotional suffering coming my way ahhhh 😻

Me: idk man, I don't think I'm really a narrative designer. I've been so burnt out on the process that I think I ejected all the skills I used to have. How will I know I'm doing it right?

So now I have a better plan in place and I'm in a better place to make this. But I still do need a little more time so I'll probably go quiet again on #RPBri

The chance to play through the stories fully without engaging with the wrapping device. This does mean a story is getting dropped but I didn't have it in me anyway lmao. #RPBri

- Finishing the stories. Specifically one full short story and one pilot episode. I was going to have stories cut off narratively instead of mechanically, but I think mechanically is what makes it interesting and I want to explore it. To do that, Players need to have- #RPBri

- Commiting to Ren'py. Unfortunately Twine just isn't in a place where I can have solid sound design AND have it be a browser game. It might be worth trying other engines but I'll go with Ren'py for now (not sure how malleable UI is, we'll see!). #RPBri

I'm not fully back with #RPBri, but I was inspired to kick my ass into gear. So here's the plan:
- No visuals. I think focusing on words and sound will serve my goals better. Of course the UI will have to be something I'm happy with but that's something I enjoy discovering.
