Fun fact: I’m listed as “servant” in the “Emma” playbill, but in my heart (and hat) I’m Samantha. I think it comes through in my performance 😉 Only two weekends left to catch this funny show at Live Arts! 🍓

My name’s up in paper and not lights, but I love it ❤️ #Emma #WeekTwo
New kitten decided to sit where old kitten loved to sit. 💔😭
Went to @tribute.coffee for their famous Kyoto Cold Brew and it was a perfect Saturday breakfast (and they had free feminine products in their bathroom!) - the highest of compliments and recommendations for this new shop! ☕️❤️
Opening night of @livearts “Emma” was a success! 🍓
Woke up with a migraine and my medicine packaging said “LOL, no.” Why?!?!?!
My backstage nicknames have been “Crucible” and “Little House” 😂
This is a lot for someone who dreams of glamorous roles and costumes and makeup and feathers and sequins - I’M FINE. (But come and see “Emma” everyone else is much flashier and funnier!)
I was asked to try and make a crocheted fire for the play I’m in - but it was scrapped for a paper version. Luckily, he gets to live at home with me in retirement next to my fake fireplace 😂
Steady Hands made an amazing sweater and I got many compliments on it - even from people who might not know Critical Role. And you know me, I love a magic cat sweater! 😻
First, breakfast burrito; then, back to work on this rainy day. Thanks @farmbellkitchen!
I had to repost because I see it going like this:
So, baby me, what’s your opinion about life so far?
Baby me: it’s alot
Still is, baby me, still is 😂
Baby me and adult me feel the same about Mondays 😳🫣
After hearing Brennan Lee Mulligan talk about his brother Griff going to The New School (on the most recent episode of “Adventuring Party” with Vic Michaelis), I’m wondering if there is any way the Alumni Executive Council could convince them to do a fundraising LARP?
Oh chat, it did not go well - we forgot all the words to our 32 bars of music and were not requested to give a monologue for "Moriarty"! Still had fun though (anytime you can sing, it's fun) and the directors and accompanist were very sweet and lovely!
Auditions today with the Virginia Theatre Festival! I hear it’s near impossible for locals - but you got to try!
Sometimes you get asked to make functional props for a stage play you’re in and they are fun to wear offstage too. ☺️
I finally figured out how to tun off Copilot, but holy cannoli, was it the worst trying to compose a letter and know what I want to say and the computer keep telling me I'm wrong and not allowing me to overwrite.
Yet another reason to hate Copilot/AI - I kept trying to write to an admissions office that I plan on taking the LSAT in April and Outlook kept correcting it to "LAST" to the point I had to type "LSATb" and then go back and delete the "b" later.
Spent the night after work baking bread and crocheting socks - what year is it? #TheseHandsMakeThings
I created my "Abolish ICE, Crank the Ice T" design all the way back when ICE was still a George W. Bush joint. It sells terribly, but I still get a kick out of it.
Drama with the cast of Live Arts’ “Emma” 🥰
Best spoonerism I’ve heard today: crystal 8 ball, which I would define as a way you could determine your fortune by looking through the crystal ball and shaking it until the polyhedral die faces the way you want ☺️
I’ve *been* sayin’.
This is the third website I’ve seen running an editorial on this topic TODAY. I’mma need @brisuscheez.bsky.social to make me an “I’ve been here the WHOLE TIME” badge if more outlets pick this up. #PhysicalMedia
Sometimes on your day off after completing your home inspection - you style a wig and then get distracted by answering emails. I had to commemorate the moment of semi-working while looking like a Sailor Moon villain. :)
I’m the glamourest grandma in the play (how I look 99% of the time on stage 😂)
You know when the full moon works with your sun catchers that it is BRIGHT tonight!
5ft tall gnome is super intimidated by the snowdrift at the grocery store parking lot!
What I’m saying is we saw ourselves in Simon’s relationships with his parents and cried every other episode and the series is really good if you want to have a good feeling this January (after a nice cry or 16).
@filmoptimist.blog : Hey! Let’s watch the new “Wonder Man” series, I remember him being a little goofy character from the West Coast Avengers.
Me: It’s only 8 episodes at 30 minutes each - sure! The TV series are generally good.
(Over the next 4 hours) Why can’t we stop crying?
