Norway adopts most EU laws, but doesn’t have a seat at the table in Brussels. Why is this?
The country isn’t in the EU. And that’s by choice: Norwegians have twice rejected membership in national referendums, citing fears of losing control over oil, fisheries, and welfare policies.
