I 100% had to romance Pan in my first playthrough, like I didn't trust him the entire time, but still picked every romance option I could for him.
I've been having a lot of fun when players visit actual restaurants or breweries, rather than a the standard tavern. While in those locations, my players are much more focused on the food or drinks they get and ask questions of the chef or brewer, a nice break from normal tavern behavior.

One GM - the Author of the story, and one player - the Protagonist, fight for control over the Protagonistβs fate.
