This didn't happen. The perception that it did is largely based on fictional shows that were about rich people. Much more common was a household where one person (theoretically Dad in a het household) was the higher earner and paid the housing costs and the other paid utilities & food

I watched this press conference the other day and I wish everyone would. When you look at this abuse and add it to his stance on US/Israel aggression, it's a pretty ugly picture of a PM who's undermining democracy, our rights, and seems to be okay with war crimes, too.

Pierre wouldn't have the unflinching support Carney's had with a near-majority government. The cons are awfully quiet about Carney. People keep saying this about PP, but there would have been more protests and pushback. Liberal loyalists still think Carney's great. So...I'm not convinced.

They see trans people as expendable. They would rather ensure that 100 trans people can't transition so long as there is a possibility that 1 person might mistakenly transition. In no other field of medicine is that even remotely ethical to suggest or do.
The question is always "what if a kid is wrongfully transitioned" and never "what if a trans kid is denied the ability to transition and endures years of excruciating dysphoria and has to have multiple surgeries later in life to fix the issues caused by going through the wrong puberty."
