If it's a Venture capitalist? Could be. Unfortunately it's what they do.
But with ads you lose
1. Chronological feeds
2. Visibility of smaller creators
3. Corporate accounts being unable to "pay to play" to force themselves down your gullet.
This app isn't a slog like other apps. It's fun

I personally don't need to watch everything right away so I don't subscribe to this many streaming platforms lol, maybe one at a time, and I rotate them out. So like $25/month at most.
Ads for TV is ok. When ads come on a social media platform, it has always ruined the freedom of the platform

Not looking forward to the surveillance nightmare robotaxis bring,
But also, Toronto streets are much more chaotic and the software will be confused

The crazy amount of ads that CBC is broadcasting for the closing ceremony is actually so annoying. 4 Ads every 3 minutes.
The Italian music and performers are doing a great job, and we get to see none of that.

Trump is welcome to purchase half of this bridge from Canada then remove tolls then!

We should totally let the US have half ownership of this bridge by allowing them the opportunity of paying for half of it! I'm sure Michigan will appreciate it!
Also crazy to me how some family can just own a trade artery like the Ambassador like that.

In a big city where people live in apartments itβs not a frivolity that people can come visit and have a place to stay. As my friend @grids.reillywood.com has previously pointed out, an exceptionally egregious example is B.C. Womenβs and Childrenβs Hospital

I think we all knew the auto thefts were allowed to run rampant with police aiding the criminals.
When people have trackers in their car and some cops obstruct instead of helping people retrieve them. At least one agency is cleaning out some bad criminal cops, it's a good start.

You can have both. In a way I think it's more important to preserve the vibrant street sidewalk culture that exists on Bloor and College.
For example Queen St used to have it, and now it's sterile and bland. Having a few high/mid rises tucked away on a side street would also calm traffic.

Why do all of these types of people who forget Toronto is a metropolis shop at Summerhill Market?
What's in the food that makes them think they're living in some cottage country town?

You'd be surprised at the amount of car guys who like electric, especially ones who enjoy like driving vs a status symbol.
We love driving the Renault 5, and wish there were more affordable cars like the Dacia Spring. It's boring one-trick Teslas and CVT SUVs that should electrify that's disliked

You know it because last week in Davos, he wasn't upset at what Mark Carney or Emmanuel Macron had to say. He said the China-Canada deal is "what they should be doing, getting deals"
As soon as he went stateside, his handlers must have told him to be upset and do another tax. He's being played.

100% agree. When the US gave GM subsidies to make EVs, they cancelled the popular Chevy Bolt and made a $150,000 hummer that nobody can afford. (Also shall we say, a very husky vehicle)
Our biggest producers by far are Toyota, Honda and oddly Stellantis with the Sedans. Not GM or Ford.

Honestly! Many manufacturers have caught up and surpassed Tesla Tech.
It's getting cheaper, there's good manufacturing discounts. And ideally we will get more European and Asian options here soon. I would love an electric Renault 5

I hope it can be both? Things are so expensive now and a lot of us would enjoy even a little relief. With a little focus, our fed gov can run more programs.
Meanwhile the ON Ford government is squandering our taxes on bankrolling his buddies and cutting services, not taxes.
