Told a DevOps colleague that Docker is a syscall facilitator. He was shocked. Yet, systemd’s MemoryMax and PrivateNetwork use the same Cgroups and Namespaces for isolation. Docker simply automates these existing Kernel APIs. It's a facilitator for System Calls. Nothing more, nothing less.
