It's such a double edged sword. Without the ability to hotfix and do DLC, our games would just ship as-is, for better or worse. The crunch leading up to gold was truly epic (and not in a good way.)
But now we KNOW we can hotifx and fix things post launch. Which means things can slip or get sloppy.
Do you remember how giant the boxes of East West stuff was?! Hahahaha. So oversized for what came in them.
