Happy Birthday! Just purchased a copy; looking forward to reading it!
This is an argument to bring back neighborhood theatres, not kill the very concept of theatrical exhibition.
Thank you!

My semi-regular post begging @darkhorse.com to put out Library Editions of CONCRETE.

I feel like this error message from my AMC app has a deeper meaningβ¦
Quote this with the first four Horror movies that come to your mind that are 10/10s for you. No cheating. Just the first four that pop into your head.
The Haunting (1963)
The Shining (1980)
The Texas Chain-saw Massacre (1974)
The Thing (1982)
Iβd add Advise and Consent to the list.

What movie do you consider perfect?
Photo taken in a movie theater of the last shot of the movie, The Natural, wherein Robert Redfordβs character is throwing a baseball.
Got to see this one on the big screen at last. As usual, it did not disappoint.
Redford in 3 Days of the Condor, about a CIA analyst who inadvertently becomes an assassin.
Redford and Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, one of my all time favorite films.
Redford in Jeremiah Johnson, depicted in his mountain man garb standing against the snow-covered Rocky Mountains.
Very saddened to hear of Robert Redford's passing. He seemed a man who walked his talk as best he could, and his work both in front of and behind the camera brought much joy.
Some favorites, in no order:

No TARDIS, DeLoreans, Terminators, or starships named Enterprise allowed, I guess?
To this day, I remain irrationally disappointed that Statham didnβt play a character named Detective Chaos in the movie CHAOS.

Lovely when you check into a hotel and find a painting of one of your favorite detectives in the lobby.
An arrangement of 10 movie posters listing my choices for the Top 10 films of the 21st century, which are Casino Royale, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Twilight Samurai, There Will Be Blood, Eureka, Inception, If Beale Street Could Talk, Dunkirk, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
So many others I could have chosen, but these are the ones right now:
