I meant that it was not a real war. There was no aim to win. It was simply another method of control by fear.
There was no war in 1984 and the only rough men were there to keep the people in line.

Trump's separation of the USA from the world affects everyone but you guys will feel it more than the rest of us.
I know you are not all mad but over the last 80 or more years you have allowed this kind of political position to be acceptable. Americans talk about right and left but from the rest of the world's perspective you only have right and further right. NATO will just rebrand without the USA, no biggy.
That is exactly what I am saying. Let's see, if a NATO country had threatened one of your allies, would you be keen to go to their defence when they start a war illegally? I doubt it.
