Why thank you, Taylor!

I can now officially say I've done live-announcing, by way of providing the live Audio Description (along with the ultra-talented Nicole Cyrille) for the Actor Awards last night--IT WAS SO FUN! :D

I'd be interested! I'm not...*quuuuuuuite* a dumb-dumb, but I'm...whatever the rank above that is? Just, "a dumb"?
I've seen and used some plugins that have really helped clean up less-than-stellar audio, especially on the road. But it would be nice to *know* what I'm doing as opposed to guessing.
If you're as concerned about Punch-kun as I am, here's a timeline of his latest activity.

This sounds like an Onion article, but it's completely real.
And with some of the original voice actors, it sounds like! :D :D :D
I don't think "pirateish" is a word, but for brevity's sake, those look...pirateish.
Kudos to German voice actors for standing firm on the issue of contractual language on AI training!

Stop doom-scrolling. Hold on this and smile for a bit. :)

Message to Members: National Day of Action. Too many times throughout the history of our nation, the government has resorted to violence against our own people. Whether it's civil rights activists, labor organizers or political movements, civilians have borne the brunt of bad decisions made by government leaders who fail to make public safety a priority. It is the responsibility of our union to speak up when the lives and well-being of our members are threatened. There is simply no need for militarized intervention to carry out immigration policy. It is unacceptable for federal authorities to terrorize communities. The chaos and violence in Minnesota is abhorrent, and it must end.
SAG-AFTRA stands with our labor siblings around the country. We rededicate ourselves to living in respectful cooperation with civil law enforcement, even as our members raise their voices in peaceful protest. We honor and commend the work of SAG-AFTRA broadcast journalists both in the Twin Cities and nationwide who are putting their personal safety on the line to keep the public informed. Finally, the union is aware of and recognizes the National Day of Action called for tomorrow, Jan. 30, 2026. It is important to note that the Day of Action is not a labor strike.
If you are employed on a SAG-AFTRA-covered project and are contracted to work, failing to report to work could subject you to legal action for breach of contract. We appreciate that our members may personally choose to safely take part in important actions like these calling for the restoration of our countryβs most cherished democratic ideals. If youβre interested and able to financially support our siblings in Minnesota, you can contribute to the Minnesota AFL-CIOβs fundraiser providing mutual aid and emergency legal funds to impacted union members at bit.ly/4rlpPKS. I was on Behind the Voice talking about how I assembled the amazing cast for Rosewater, how more indies should take advantage of SAG-AFTRA's contracts, and what I'd like to see more of in adventure games!

For whatever it's worth, thank you so much for taking advantage of SAG-AFTRA's indie game contract! :)
Text reads, "Compliance to Quality High Standards. Ensures AI dubbing meets Prime Video's customer quality benchmarks (e.g., clarity, synchronization, cultural sensitivity, and more) through rigorous testing and feedback loops with quality experts." Notably, "customer quality benchmarks" is highlighted.
Eh, that doesn't surprise me. I said even when they took down their first AI dubs that they would try it again.
And the good news is--thanks to Banana Fish, among other titles--we have proof that polite but bluntly negative customer feedback does, in fact, work. As the job description notes...
Gave what I could. I hope it all goes well for you!
Speaking as someone who's worked with Capcom, stays in touch with its people, and has, shall we say, professional room to maneuver, I'll just say that contrary to what the technical director in the IGN article asserts, I know for a *fact* many Capcom employees are VEHEMENTLY against this direction.
Nah, people are just accurately noting that, with a *scant* few exceptions here and there (like medical research), AI has made life worse, not better, for society. That's not an opinion, that's a quantifiable, measurable fact.
We need real innovation -not exploitation. When AI is trained on stolen creative works, everyone loses. Instead of culture, art, writing, and music, all we'll be left with is static & silence. NAVA is proud to be a signatory on this campaign.

People who donβt know how to make a PDF: βAI is inevitable.β
I'm not gonna do it because the specifics needed to pull this off are too risky...but as a *general* matter...somebody's gonna make a fortune short-selling Nvidia.
"AI boom could falter without wider adoption"? Well threaten me with a good time, why don't 'ya.
Aww, thank you very much, sir! :D
I was honored to win a SOVAS Award for my Audio Description performance in "King of the Hill."
My greatest honor? To stand among the other nominees, who strive to create the best AD experience they can to blind and low-vision audiences.

OK, enough AI-bashing posts (for now...). For the sake of a positivity injection, here's a bunny jumping in slow motion. :)
Juuuuuust making a casual observation here, buuuuuut...if AI data centers are such an awesome thing, why are they telling people who ask questions about them to sign NDAs?

Oh, you played it? Awesome!
It was definitely tough in certain segments (that "white dome" battle towards the very end caused me to shout, "ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME!?" on numerous occasions).
But man, that moment when Derrick gets his full power was SO damn cool!

βBreakdownβ on the Xbox wasnβt exactly a major seller, but man, I really enjoyed playing it. Towards the end, it had one of the cooler plot twists that Iβve seen in a video game.
HELL YEAH!!
Look at what we did TOGETHER! Comic-con has quietly changed their language and will NOT allow GenAi imagery in their art show!
And this happened because you all wrote letters, and shared your concerns! Speaking up works EVERY time!
So congrats friends! We did this together!!!
