He’s the unelected head of state. Trump is his front man. Go get him!

There is no pressing need to have Parliament put their attention there when there are more important things to attend to.

Trump's decision to bomb Iran is now the greatest windfall to the Russian war effort on record. If it continues, it might save the Russian war economy.

Doesn’t he need to be confirmed by Congress?

Good luck with that. There’s a new world order emerging.

1/2 Nailed it. As a Canadian I’ve always thought our prosperity can larger be explained by access to resources per the US situation and our proximity to Empires. Our climate/ population density working against us being able to do it on our own. First the British then the American.

I’d be torn in 5 directions with my French, Slovak, Scottish, English and Irish ancestry. I wonder if the fact of my indigenous grandmothers from the 17th and 18th centuries would mean I can stay.

Sometimes his lack of political experience shows up. He doesn’t seem to have the comms team he needs, or he doesn’t listen to them.

His polling numbers should continue to plummet. Bring on the election.

The perils of per capita GDP: No, Canada is not poorer than Alabama This is the second of a two-part analysis of Canada’s GDP per capita. The first part can be found here. Some business and political commentators cite a growing gap between the per capita GDP of Canada...

Lots of chatter from those in the 'Canada is broken' camp over claims that Canada is now 'poorer' than Alabama, on the basis of per capita GDP comparisons. See my explainer for @irpp.org on why this claim is false: policyoptions.irpp.org/2025/04/cana.... #canlab #cdnecon /2
