Great device

Every week/month new games from solo or small developers often "out of nowhere", achieve success in the 100Ks of units, and at times millions. The industry is not broken, has simply evolved over the years and the old models often do not fit into the new reality.

What’s everyone playing this weekend.

I know I am an edge-ish case, but the idea of not being able to play a game seamlessly on my big TV, on my handheld device and then via cloud is becoming more and more unfamiliar to me

The only offensive thing of the Estonian song at the Eurovision is that the song is called espresso macchiato, but the cup he is holding in his hand is not an espresso cup 🤣

Even after 26+ years in the industry, it feels special to see a game in a shop

When Apple came in with their 30% model for mobile apps and games was against a backdrop where mobile operators would take 50%-70%. At that point was a massive breakthrough.

Good take on how we often struggle to look at our industry from outside the inner circle we operate in.

Really enjoy the snooker final today. I remember when videogames based on it would seep hundreds of thousands of copies ( even worked on one).

Surely I am not the only one running a count down to the launch of Switch 2…right???

I have only played 2 hours of Expedition 33 so far but it’s already ahead of any other game launched in 2025 in terms of GOTY.

The last 7/8 months have been absolutely incredible when it comes to amazing game releases. Aren’t we all so lucky?

Played it on Steam, didn’t realise the demo was also on console 🙏

After finishing Awoved and South of Midnight, I am now a good 10 hours into Starfield and so far I am absolutely enjoying it.

Demo on PS5 or using the controller with a PC?

Finished Avowed and tonight I started South of Midnight, wow it looks beautiful and the story starts very strong.
