(Struggled to find matches with correct covers.)
Will keep you in mind. I have a Loopy, Famicom Robot ans AES on Vinted. And extra a Famicon Gun with some games, Famicom Telebanking thing, LaserActives (still need servicing), PSX (the NVR), some 3DOs. But also not looking to get rid of stuff cheap, as I need to get money to finance the grails.
Not just yet.... I am selling off a lot, but stuff I have extra at the moment. The JagCD might go at a later time.
Yeah, nothing I like about the jag except maybe tempest 2000. But I still have one with the toilet addon. But in storage. Not good enough for prime real estate in the room...
What? The toilet console? I hope it was flushed before sending it in. Rarrrr!
Started planning next Japan Trip. Probably visiting #Hiroshima and #Shikoku area. Anyone have tips for good #retrogame hunting locations? Hard-Offs and Surugayas already pinned. Any similar local chain stores like Mangasoukou in that area? Would love some advice/recommendations. #retrogamehunting
Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
I prefer this, cheap, simple and accessible, yet very satisfying to see the coloured wires line up neatly.
Love the 3D printed cap holder!
I'll take the Japanese box art over the western one any time.
Been trying to play Actraiser, I remember playing it quite a lot when I was young, but never #hitexploded it. So attempting now. Enjoying the music by @yuzokoshiro.bsky.social. Controls feel a bit off though, but maybe that's coz I am saying on the #miyoo Flip v2. #snes #superfamicom
Put an ode in the discman, always have all your favourite CDs with in a clunky but cool way. (disclaimer: coolness may be interpreted differently by others)
Looks cool though...
Join the Volfied hiscore battle :)
Mechanic make nice quality stuff. It seems it is time again to do a round of "mechanic" search and ordering on aliexpress :)
Never mind... UFO game
Where can we buy this?
Forgot to take more photos while working, so he made these afterwards. Do you think he will notice this #psp is actually an homage to Mr.Driller? Have to order the DC jack and replace the umbilical cord that is now hanging out from the PSP. #retrogaming #retromodding
And in the end we got it all working (phew) in it's new jacket. A lot of frigging screws though. The #aliexpress shell was so so. Not recommended. Some parts just didn't fit and I had to cut and holes I needed to enlarge. Plastic also felt cheap. #psp #retromodding
Tried alcohol, contact spray, then even deoxit. Scraped with an x-acto knife, but could not get it to make contact. So then I just jumpered it and got it working. But not until I hooked up the IPS screen. Before that it gave the dreaded single green led flash when turning on. #psp #retrorevival
After taking it apart I thought it might be a good idea to test it first to see if it still actually works... It didn't work when connected to a charger. After some troubleshooting, fuses, screen, etc. I decided to check continuity on the DC jack. That was it... #psp
So... I ordered some #psp parts for a neighbour's nephew who wanted to fix his PSP with a broken screen. Which is cool, he is still young but is very interested in them old consoles. So I might have gotten an accidental apprentice... #playstation #retrogaming
Actually, I wanted to keep this one, because it's actually useful for playing physical games, since I have no time and I can still use real-time save. Also, looking back at the photos, it looks like I was sold a Master Boy in a Game Master box... Next time I am in HK I can check for a Game Master
Oh wow! Never seen this before, looks so pro for a famiclone. Need to add this to my list.... And I was trying to clear up space... I did buy a Tianli VCD player with built-in MD, official. But it is in China somewhere now, no idea when the next time will be when I go there.
Hahaha. The photo I found online was actually my own. The photo I took when I posted about it here and on mastodon. So yeah, I have a Bung Game Master.
I started collecting copiers when I got the Super Famicom, the older copiers I got years after browsing shops in HK. Just looked up Game Master, I do have something that looks like it, but I thought it was only to do real-time saves. Will check when I am back home tomorrow.
Maybe they are 32M and they never made 64M ones because it didn'sell well enough? They didn't tick the sticker with a marker.
If I manage to find the ti.e to sell off what is lying around in my room and make some space, I should round up all the copiers and make a thread :)
I had a thing for copiers. Plan to sell them all though, something like nileswan is much better, 1 cart, all games. Easier to pick up and play. I also have a Magic Griffin, full MGDยฒ set (including NeoGeo) and a SuperH Twin(?). No rush in parting with them though.
