A bold installation at the waterfront: the figure caught mid-clamber, neither fully ascending nor descending, as if unsure whether art imitates life or just an awkward workout. The bridge arches behind with stoic indifference, while the river reflects everything but the effort of this lone body. It is at once heroic and ridiculous — a study in balance, vulnerability, and the eternal human urge to be somewhere else. #artnude #nudeart #nudemodel #artisticnude #nudephotography #artisticnudephoto #fineartnude #fineartnudephoto #nudeinnature #nudestatue #eroticart #nudemale #malemodel #naturistart #nudeoutdoors
Arrived just in time to witness another statue being put up by the river. Proof that great art requires both vulnerability and questionable balance, this stuntwork sculpture is a meditation on escape and transitory balance.

Naked is used as a term meaning without or vulnerable: “the trees were naked without their leaves”, “I feel naked without glasses”. Nude has artistic connotations and seems synonymous with unclothed. It seems much less likely to be used with anything other than human nakedness or skin tones.
Walks in the early hours before sunrise carry an air of solitude — a private exposure to the air, to the self, and to the unfiltered now. The world seems half-made, its edges blurred, still forming in the hush. It belongs to you alone. The mist and the chill on the skin, the firmness of ground beneath feet — these sensations sharpen when barriers fall away. A nude hike becomes a sensory conduit to awareness, each step a quiet unveiling. The mist shifts perception, painting the air in colors that resist names; a blue with wisps of vermillion, an ochre that fades to aureolin before cooling into turquoise. Each hue exists for only moments before it is replaced by the next. As one walks, the path appears step by step, revealed only in motion. The mist’s boundaries remain invisible until, suddenly, a single step more thrusts you beyond it. The journey is sensory and spiritual. It is a movement wrapped in trust, carrying you through the unknown. #nudist #naturist #nudeoutdoor #normalizenudity #normalizenaked #nakedinnature #getnaked #nudeoutdoor #hikenude #nudehiking #freehiking #nudehiker #nakedhiking #nakedhiker #nakedadventures #explorenaked
I love the dark hours of my being.
They deepen the senses…
Then, like colors that aren’t yet known,
Roads appear in the mist
And mountains stand quietly in the distance.

It was a great ride!
I saw you at PDXWNBR and I loved your hair!
Congratulations-it was a fun ride. There were more participating. I wasn’t specifically looking, but I noticed at least 4 others.
I always appeal the “adult content” I say “ this is non sexual nudity”. It’s only defaulting to “adult content” for its protection, and its AI can’t tell. Nothing to feel personal about— just correct it through appeal.
You are the only you. This body is yours alone — carry it with care, shape it with courage. It will take you up climbs you once doubted, to places that test your limits and expand your horizons. Fear and shame is the mountain — climb it. #naturism #nudeinnature

Summer solstice hike There’s something fitting about walking exposed to the elements on the longest day of the year. Not for boldness or spectacle, but for simplicity. No layers between skin and sun, between breath and wind. The rhythm of footsteps, the sound of gravel shifting underfoot, the warm air rising from the trail — all of it pulls you into the present. No hurry, no destination beyond the next turn. The body adjusts to the climb, to the light, to the warmth. Discomfort becomes a companion you work with rather than against. And as you move, you start to notice the small things: the curve of the ridgeline, the patterns in the dirt, the way the sun arcs across the afternoon sky. The trail asks little, but gives back its own kind of peace. Naked Hiking Day 2025

There is no script out here, no roles to play, no mirrors to distort with demands. Freed from the choreography of civilization, I walk nude in rhythm with the earth itself—raw, exposed, and honest. The canyon doesn’t offer answers or ask questions. It simply exists, and in that simplicity, I do the same. Existentialism posits that we are cast into the world and left to create our own purpose. Here, in this golden expanse carved by time and silence, purpose feels irrelevant. Not because life is empty, but because it is enough. The sun is more than metaphor, it is felt as heat on my skin, the whispering canyon winds as cooling breath on my body. My breath and footfalls are a proof: I am alive, and in that aliveness has its own affirmation. The canyon does not need me, and yet, by being here, I am part of its momentary truth. To hike nude through such terrain is an act of return. In this place, stripped of everything but breath and movement, I am not performing significance. I am significance—fragile, fleeting, and utterly real. The world may never notice this moment. But I will. And that is enough. #naturist #freehiker #nudeinnature
When the sun warms my bare skin and the canyon echoes my breath, I am not seeking meaning—I am becoming it.

Thank you for supplying the source.
Wonderful work
Great beach
Wonderful color contrast between skin and rocks.
Thanks @travellighter.bsky.social
Wonderful reflective pose and capture!
Wonderful ethereal look!
Stunning image!
What did it for me was to try to normalize the difference between the image pairs. This helped me recognize differences easier without the tonal and lighting noise. Then it turns into a “spot the differences” game.
Ah! I can see the wider noses in the second column, the lengthened and higher contrast eyes in the upper right corner and removal of nose ring in the lower right. The sets look like different people though.
I’ve always thought the account was lust harvested images of different people.
Some see naturism as something just for summer—something to try when it’s convenient, warm, and easy. But I’ve always felt it differently. T.S. Bremer writes, “The poet goes into nature to strip away the layers of disguise that society demands.” And that stripping away isn’t seasonal. It’s spiritual. It’s about presence, not temperature. Some wait for the sun. But for a true naturist, it’s also about meeting the world unarmored and unadorned—whether it’s hospitable or not. #freehiker #nudist #nakedoutdoors #nudeinnature
Naturism, for me, isn’t about fair weather or comfort—it’s about presence. I go nude at dawn, on cold beaches, amongst misty trees. It’s not about exhibition or ease. It’s about authenticity, stepping outside the frame others set, and meeting nature honestly.

I’m with you on this. I see that there is some image optimization but see no feature changes.
Most excellent use of shadow and light!
Spring doesn’t ask permission—it bursts, it giggles, it flings petals into the wind like confetti from the earth itself. Flowers don’t wait for an invitation to bloom, and neither should we. There’s something deliciously rebellious in joy that’s uncontained. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “The Earth laughs in flowers”—and maybe, just maybe, it dances in bare feet too. #nakedinnature #freehike #naturist #nudist

Great riding with you 😺
I like the natural warm toned one, but whenever the lighting is that good, the B&W is an excellent substitute.
This weekend at City Hall, time and space ran short—but outrage ran wide. “Hands Off!” protests against administrative overreach, anti-DEI policies, and systemic disenfranchisement shared the pavement with a rolling band of body-positive WNBR cyclists demanding visibility and cyclist rights. One side raised fists and placards; the other disrobed and lifted handlebars. And in between them stood an orange tiger—defiant, singular. A participant in both, yet oddly separated from either. When it comes to diversity, who better to demand inclusion than the one who stands out?
Another week—another protest. Caption contest:
