Being a Secretary is like being a C-suite executive; it does not require degrees nor any type of special skills. Literally the most low ranking, least paid employee of a company could be the CEO since they have the same credentials
My point is we need standards
It would be good if (1) the Dem national leadership actually used that messaging in elections and (2) if we had a left version of John Yoo or Bill Barr who utilized a super niche, out there reading of the law to help eradicate conservative jurisprudence policy

Having met her and given this is my district, I cannot endorse her enough
She is not only highly intelligent and policy oriented, but genuine, dedicated, and passionate about helping her community
If you’re in the new District 21, please get out and vote for her. She will do incredible things

She is a progressive Democrat who values the people of her district and wants them to have real representation
Don’t ever fall for Republicans’ lies about them respecting law and order or wanting peace. They very clearly do not and never have; what they want is to kill everyone who has even the slightest disagreement with them
Journalism is dead. Or at least, journalism as long as it is staffed, funded, and led by persons with elite credentials, Ivy League educations, and have family ties to decades long wealthy families should be considered dead
The gratitude I have for the people working to bring us translations of books that have been out in other countries for decades cannot be understated. This timeline sucks but it has given us some amazing pieces of literature in English for the first time in many cases and that makes me happy.
Local advocacy is more important than ever. It's overwhelming to think about how to fix [motions to everything] but I can make it safer for seniors to cross the street, for kids to bike to school, for people to have places to meet in public space... all of which build and strengthen our democracy.
Yes, call your elected representatives in Washington, but also:
Show up to a community board meeting. Run for for school board. Organize your neighbors. There's a lot of manageable things you can do. Everything helps.

This line of response hurts the US and US servicemembers. It will cause long-term damage unless we get this right.

True activism means taking a stand, putting one’s life & livelihood on the line. It doesn’t mean solely posting online and it certainly doesn’t mean saying a president should step down, then speaking out relatively little while living abroad with huge sums of wealth on hand 👀
Also, what is even the point of having Slytherin realistically? I get narratively, but in what universe would a school openly have/endorse/assist a club which (as part of its’ explicit purpose) is to house literally evil children (or byproducts of evil people)?
