But Winman CEO Edwin Wong was infuriated and showed an email where Kai Tak admitted not sending the email, due to “technical error”, and went on to call them liars and difficult to work with.
On Wednesday, Kai Tak told media that at the end December they went back to Winman requesting more details and an application form, seemingly trying to get the event back on.
The Winman Advertising and Entertainment Group said they have signed a deal with Barca, but Kai Tak said no to hosting the LaLiga side because the venue was booked in the proposed date of July 27.
