"Ehum" Catra gets up off the floor and dusts herself off, Glimmer snickers gleefully behind her. "Excuse our tardiness." "No worries! We are going over the wedding plans. So you are just in time, I think!" Adora, Catra, Glimmer, Duncan, Bow and Lonnie stands around a map displayed on a table between them.

"Specifically, we're speaking of where the ritual will take place..." Adora looks thoughtful, looking down at the map. Something catches Bow's attention, he's wide eyed. Catra blush slightly at the mention of the mysterious ritual. "Okay, well... what do you need?" she asks. Glimmer stares in shock besides her. Adora replies out of frame: "Mostly just an open sky and close to nature..." Catra imagines yet another nightly sacrificial ritual where nude people are gathered under the stars in front of a bonnfire, with a goat on an altar. On either side of the altar Catra and Adora stands, Adora is unfazed - Catra is distraught. A finger points to a wooded part of the map. Adora continues: "We were thinking of building the ritual site in this wooded part. If you approve, of course!"

Catra, Kyle, and the Brightmoon Princess Glimmer - are walking in the hallway. Kyle is reading the days schedule, while Glimmer is grilling Catra for details. Glimmer looks smug. "Sooo... how do you feel about your wife-to-be? Is she hot? Are you excited? I hear that the Northmen are easy on the eyes. I bet you're excited, I've seen the painting..." Kyle is going on with the schedule paying the regal ladies no mind. "...-the ceremony will take place two days from now, and the Ritual will take place the night after." "Aww, 4 days of waiting, I admire your restraint." Glimmer quips. Catra finally break her royal composure and turns to Glimmer with desperation. "Sparkles would you PLEASE behave in front of my to-be!" Glimmer waves her off. "Oh pysh, you bore! I am perfectly capable of-" Catra is not impressed and rolls her eyes when Glimmer's confident composure completely falters when the door to the meetingroom opens. "- behaaaving..." Glimmer stares with wide eyes, as she sees Adora standing by the meeting table with her arms exposed by her garb. "Oh my GODS!!" she exclaimes, making Catra panick with embarrassment. Catra cling to Glimmer, desperately trying to keep her quiet and get her to compose herself. "Hush Sparkles!" "Heavens Catra! Would you mind sharing?? Easy on the eyes is an understatement!" "I told you to behave!! What are you doing?!" This is the moment Adora notice them, and turns to them with a cheery greeting. Catra finds herself on the floor tussling with Glimmer, while Kyle just sighs.

Catra turns to Adora as they continue speaking, a surprised expression on her face, though she is still shielding herself with her arms crossed over her chest. "The truth is that I've been so excited to meet you that I started thinking of things I want to show you, teach you, and experience with you..." Adora blushes at her own words. "I- uh, forgot that we have not yet met, and that you may not even like me... Well, what I wanted to say with all this--" Adora stands up straight, Catra still watches them, her guard slowly lowering. Adora blush and averts her eyes as they shrug and scratch the top of their head. "-is that what type of union this is, is all up to you. This is your land, I trust that you know best how to handle it, I don't need to lay my finger in it, or how to say..." They blush even more. [Translation: Vacker = beautiful in Swedish] Catra's tail poof at their words, and a blush spread on her cheeks. "I just wanted you to know! Good night!" Later that evening, Catra is on the balcony, gazing out over her city and the waters from which the Northerners came. The sun is settling beyond the horizon. Her bodylanguage is guarded, her arms wrapped over her chest and mouth hidden behind her hand as she ponder. "What am I getting myself into..." she thinks. "Am I ready for this? Am I truly okay with this union? I know nothing about the Northerners, is it garanteed that this will be profitable for our countries?" Adora slowly approach the balcony from behind Catra, knocking on the doorway to gain her attention. "Lady Catherine?" Catra wasn't startled, but she's apprehensive. "Yes?" "May I join you?" "...sure?" They watch the starry sky in silence for a while, before Adora speaks up without looking at Catra. "I sense your doubt... you worry that my people are harsh, and you wonder if we will challenge your rule... your customs... your way of living. And I bear some of the blame for it. I appologize for my excitement." Catra is surprised at being read so accurately by someone she doesn't know.

She zones back into the conversation betweek Kyle and Bow just as Bow continues. "...so I assume you are ready for the Marriage Ritual, time is of the essence!" Kyle stares blankly. "Eh? Of course?" Bow smiles. "Amazing! Our people have already started the preparations!" Catra's eyes bug out of her head for a moment, she snatches Kyle by the collar and pulls him in close. "What sort of RITUAL??" she asks through gritted teeth. "I don't know my Lady... it hasn't been communicated." Catra slouch down with her elbows on the table, her mind filling with whatever nightmare scenatios this Northerner marriage ritual may be. Her fur bristles as her first thought is of Bow offering them a bowl of blood. "Hereby drink this goats blood and be wed!" Then her mind switch to a sacrificial ritual, where a northern man lifts a sword above a goats head and yells: "And by this sacrifice, ancestors praise this union!" Her last, and most disturbing thought, is of her and Adora in their candlelit marrital bed, surrounded by her advisors and the Northerner Bow. Kyle gleefully say: "Go on M'Lady, it's not official until thee copulate, 'tis the Ritual Rule!"
