“Fandom etiquette dying”
My take is that there was a lot wrong with old fandom. Especially when it came to weirdo who were popular so you couldn’t say anything about them.
But let’s not act like fandom now doesn’t have a purity culture that just wasn’t happening before.
Need to ask bluesky since if I asked anyway else it’d be bad.
But like Patriotism is like alway bad isn’t it.
The only time I’ve ever seen it been “good” is like fictionally.

But acting like these shows should never be made just cause they aren't your cup of tea plays into the idea that animation is only valid if it's the best piece of media you've ever seen

Arcane is a retcon of large parts of the League universe, by necessity. Or it SHOULD be. But Riot's track record on implementing that sort of thing is......... not great, if I'm being generous.
I think Arcane’s finale was fine…. I don’t like how it felt like nothing ended.
Idk it felt like only a few characters stories ended. And then almost nothing changed in the piltover and Zaun.
