They’ve had plenty of reasons to do that before now. The defense of the Constitution being chief among the reasons.

FAA wouldn’t allow it. Flight paths to the big airports would be affected. Was already proposed and shot down.

Our voting rights and laws ensure maximum suffrage and free from interference from those that want to deny the right to vote to others. This is especially important in light of attempted federal interference.

We have made our state a sanctuary state and a safe Haven for immigrants as well as women affected by the draconian laws restricting women’s healthcare. We even protect them from interstate legal harassment. Our larger cities require law-enforcement to not assist ice in their actions.

Our current Attorney General as well as the previous one (who is now our current governor) have been among the highest profile AG’s in the country in fighting the Trump regime garnering significant victories that safeguard our state citizens as well as those across the country.

He is executing the fascist playbook straight out of mien kampf. We know how this ends yet too many of us do not want to prepare for that eventuality. Yes he’s flooding the zone, but he is fully prepared to act on any of his schemes.

I’m reactive to the fact that when we were concerned about the possibility of Roe v Wade being overturned, the response was it’s not gonna happen don’t overreact. Then it was the 14th amendment insurrection section and now it’s the voting rights act.

We have been consistently not taking the threat that Trump and his cabal poses seriously. He has consolidated an incredible amount of power because of our blasΓ© approach. We’re in the verge of a world war and here you are trying to tamp down things.

No the talibangicals hate the competition and think in terms of invading hordes and other anachronistic terms.

I’m not sure where you’re looking but the people in my sphere are universally opposed and quite vocal. But then I live in a state Trump calls a communist haven 😹

And because our MSM is now owned by oligarchs aligned with Trump they will never report this.

You need 2/3rds of the senate to convict and a majority vote in Congress. A conviction has never been successful in the history of the country. Because it’s inherently political and they chose their tribe before integrity.

By about 1% margin. And there are some questions about the swing states all going for him by small margins. And small precincts in rural counties showing zero votes for Harris but elected Dems in other races. That’s seems a bit fishy smelling.

Our election system is rigged. The electoral college gives great weight to the few people in empty land making it possible for a candidate to lose the popular vote by millions and still win the presidency. That’s got we got Trump the first time.
