Sorry! I misunderstood. Worlds Without Numbers could still be worth a look.

I'm not sure if Dragonbane and Shadow of the Weird Wizard could be considered NSR. Take a look at Cairn and other Odd-likes, Knave and its hacks like Maze Rats or World of Dungeons and its hacks like Streets of Marienburg and Advanced World of Dungeons. Also Worlds Without Numbers is very adaptable.
I'd rather not judge people on every single issue and divide them into those who are "right" and those who are "wrong". You can be against a predatory industry and evil CEOs without judging a random Bob who thinks their midjourney NPC portraits are the shit.
People are figuring things out and trying to find a position between being critical and becoming a luddite, it's only natural. Gen AI is invading every part of our digital life, privately and professionally. And most people aren't dedicated to ttrpgs full time.
Neither do I live in this district, nor am I from the US. If I did, you would have my voice. Democracy needs a vocal public and elected officials need to represent this vocal public.
They should go into full campaign mode. Doesn't political opposition mean anything in the US?
I wanted this to be my cozy hobby space. I wanted to only follow people from the ttrpg community. I wanted this one app not to be about doom scrolling. I guess it didn't work.
Organize. Support. Connect.
Resist.
We can wear them out through a war of attrition fought in the courts, the streets, and the states. Sabotage, delay, deny, refuse to comply, sue, sue again, donate to the nonprofits that are suing, use local elections to best effect even if national elections become undemocratic...
How is the CBR+PNK book? I know about Augmented but I didn't think it would be that thick. Wasn't CBR+PNK just a pamphlet game?
@der-postillon.com: "Reaktion auf Merz: Hans-Georg-MaaΓen tritt in CDU ein."- wΓ€re eine passende Schlagzeile fΓΌr euch.
Have you thought about a few random tables for character creation to go with the sheets? I'd imagine birds would have different birth signs and plumage would replace coat. And maybe exploring language could be interesting. In raw Mausritter mice and birds wouldn't understand each other.
This little thought experiment most probably needs refinement.
If you happen to be a #bird person and/or play #Mausritter, I'd love to hear what you make of this π¦οΈ
Amazing! It would be a challenge for me to imagine the spatial relations and implications that come with being a bird. But I love the concept and the sheet looks perfect. PS: I really think the attributes should be Feather (Agi), Flock (Cha) and Beak (Str).
Wait, WTF. Yochai Gal quit Bluesky because people were hounding him about linking to a review?
JFC #TTRPG people. We're trying to make this NOT Twitter. That means leaving the performative concern-trolling behind. There's shit to get up in people's grills about, and shit that just doesn't matter.
Yes!!!!
Tip 14: If you have to cancel a #TTRPG gaming session (and it happens don't worry)
a) do it as early as possible (no matter how uncomfortable you feel),
b) propose 3-4 new suggested dates, and
c) take mental responsibility for arranging the replacement session.
Your GM will LOVE you!
I'm sorry, angry, sad and full of contempt.

Heinrich Heine, no doubt. His travel journals are basically travelling through Europe poetically roasting people.
For a moment I thought "what about a ttrpg game of ordinary people undertaking incursions into a fantastical dimension to experience wondrous adventures just to return to their ordinary lives during downtime feeling more and more detached." Then I realized the irony of it.
Ok #TTRPG peeps. Saying a game β someone else's, yours doesn't matter β "encourages roleplaying" tells me nothing. There are numerous non-game specific methods to help bring players out of their shells and get engaged. /1
I've already played all the published mysteries I liked for TftL. I agree that they are great! I'm more looking to find scary modules/mysteries, less for system recommendations.
Tales from the Loop is great! Ran it a few times in the past. Which module would you recommend?
What to run this year for Halloween? Any suggestions for a module? Preferably in a modern setting. Liminal Horror, Cthulhu Dark, Call of Cthulhu, Vaesen and Dread are all fine. #ttrpg #rpg #indiettrpg #indierpg
Finally our #slugblaster campaign kicked off! The crew of weirdo teenagers explored Thennis Spars bustling market, tagged a "no hoverboarding" sign, met an interdimensional apple merchant, took a guided dungeon tour and broke into the ancient upside down underground full of ghosts and ghouls. #ttrpg
The quality of my GM'ing correlates to my time spent daydreaming about the upcoming session.
I find it really weird and alienating how the DND world discusses the new edition like a video game balance patch. This is so far from how and why I play #ttrpg 's. Sadly it's exactly how I experience my DND group.
What #rpg setting or module would make for a great #slugblaster dimension?
The Stygian Library? Ultraviolet Grasslands? Electric Bastionland? Pulp Cthulhu? The Wildsea?
What rules are they ignoring?
