One grandfather was a rural public school admin/coach. The other was a bivocational plumber and Southern Baptist pastor. Both grew up subsistence/tenant farming and later achieved graduate degrees.
We really do need to hammer home reducing police budgets and using them to bolster teacher salaries immediately. The fact we have these massive goon squads playing candy crush all day at their jobs meanwhile teachers are having to get second incomes is frankly embarrassing as a rich country.
I had big designs on their cake donuts. It’s the whole reason I came. However, their seasonal was a pistachio creme-filled chocolate glazed yeast donut and they have kolaches now. I’m defenseless against this.

I’m finally getting around to the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion, and it’s great! But the game already made me follow so many slow NPCs. I don’t even care that it’s Idris Elba. Get to the point and let’s playyyyy.
If your game uses the unskippable “follow the NPC slowly around an area while they dump lore and mission details” mechanic, I can almost accept that. But babies, you gotta make that dialogue 👏🏻 tight 👏🏻 as 👏🏻 hell.

One of my favorite things about GG’s Little Women is how much screen time is spent showing those girls absolutely wailing on each other. Just skirts and fingernails flying around in a Looney Toons cyclone. As an only child, this is exactly what having even one (1) sibling seemed like to me.
