This week, Tom attended the council meeting regarding the future of the Agora Development.
Finally, the project is going ahead, but unfortunately the micro-grid and the affordable housing aspect have been scrapped.

"The Green Party has, in the past year, gone from strength to strength. Our membership numbers have raced ahead of the traditional parties, our polling numbers have skyrocketed, and we have now smashed a by-election at Gorton and Denton in Manchester, a traditionally safe seat for Labour. This has happened because people have realised that they donβt have to be stuck with just two parties anymore. As Reform has risen in the polls, so have we. This canβt be excused as a fluke or an accident. The far-right are attempting to spin it as somehow fraudulent based on nothing, but we know the truth. The country is ready for the Greens. Milton Keynes City Council will have an all-up election in May. 60 seats on the council will be up for grabs, and Milton Keynes Green Party are ready to take them. Labour and Reform are panicking, and so they should be, because itβs not immigrants they should be worried about - itβs the Greens coming for their seats".

"I know there are many trans and non-binary people who will be feeling deeply worried today, caught in the midst of a media storm as they try to simply live their lives. To those people, I say: please know that I stand with you - today, tomorrow and always. The Green Party continues to support a policy of self-ID to allow trans people to live full lives free from harassment in the gender they know themselves to be. The judge emphasised in his speech that trans people are still protected under the law, but it is for government to now demonstrate how this will be achieved. I will work closely with human rights and LGBTIQA+ groups to understand the consequences of this ruling, and will not hesitate to press for changes in legislation if it is needed to protect the humanΒ rightsΒ ofΒ all.β - Carla Denyer MP, Green Party Co-leader - MP Bristol Central

Heathrow is typical of the Government.
Makes inequality worse, evidence is biased by vested interests and it's terrible for the planet.
Rather than a frequent flyer levy, Labour are only interested in representing corporate interests.
βFor most of this generationβs lives, they have only known austerity and governments that offer them very little.β Carla Denyer, Co-Leader, Green Party.
