I am extraordinarily proud of every New England VG player that delivered and came through for our region this entire season. As we all say: I love my Country New England.

Two years ago today I hosted my first official sanctioned VG tournament as an Organizer. So much happened in the last two years I almost can't believe it tbh.

Regardless of the reasoning, my point is that it *shouldn't* be this way. Not that there's a reasonable and logical way to fix that problem. Just that it shouldn't be the way it is.

Idk if the money being there is a good enough reason to pay athletes so high. I agree that if it doesn't go to them then it just gets sponged up by the suits. Doesn't make it right or morally just. Luckily there are some athletes that take their money and invest it into education and youth programs.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE basketball. I enjoy both the NBA and the WNBA. But I also know so many teachers who pay put of pocket for school supplies while pro athletes open a new pair of socks before and after the game and throw em away after each use.

Nobody should make 54 million from playing basketball. Nobody should make 47 million playing ball. Teachers average 40-70k a year in the US. I know the teacher example is overplayed but if you think sports are more valuable than investing in the minds of the future you're insane.

My hot take is people are looking at the NBA vs WNBA salary debate all wrong. I don't think WNBA players should be paid like NBA players; NBA players should get paid like WNBA players. There's no denying that that level of athleticism is hard but nobody needs that kind of money to play a game.

I wish mens sports took assault as serious as women's sports do. Sedona not getting drafted because of her 4 "alleged" assault cases is MUSIC to my ears
