Joshua had promised he’d helped them all in some sort of group capacity, but looking at it now, she only saw her own face reflecting back at her. “Joshua?” Wait, was that really how her hair looked today? And she left the atelier like that?! No no no, this wouldn’t do. She brushed her fingers through her brunette locks, hurrying to straighten it out, but they snagged on a tangle. “Ugh, come on—don’t be like this…”

I don't think I shared this, but working on the witch AU again, and... Shiki has priorities.

That wouldn’t do. Nagi charged her psych and slashed again, but her sword only bounced off. Could this pig truly be impervious to all attacks? Nagi let out a whimper as she backed into another pig, tripping over its round form and falling on her butt and knocking her glasses askew. This was it—the end for her. She was about to meet her doom from the cloven hooves of— Suddenly, a strange bubble of liquid formed over her. Nagi instinctively held her breath as it rippled overhead. Was this a ploy of the pig’s? Would this dastardly trap drown her? Though try as it might, the pig couldn’t get through. It beat its head against the water, then huffed, then puffed. But it couldn’t blow this barrier down.

Finally caught Nagi's section up to Beat's section in the witch AU... kinda, anyway?? It's complicated 😅 But moving on to Rhyme's section next~ And as always, a little peek at what I worked on today~

Witchy crows 🐦‍⬛

It hadn’t been that long since Nagi had lost sight of her companions in this maze of pork madness. While Lord Rindo and his friend had headed up towards Cat Street, she’d chosen to follow Lord Minamimoto, who she thought had passed through Spain Hill. As she emerged by Parco with no sign of the math witch, though, she suddenly realized that she had ended up alone against the might of a thousand swine. But unlike in Volume 1, chapter 17 of Elegant Strategy, no Tomonami would show up to save the main heroine from the horde of goblins.

As a heads up, the next chapter of the witch AU might take a little bit to finish, but that's because I'm writing at least three chapters simultaneously. I've never done something quite like this before, but I'm hoping it'll pay off in the end~
