watched an episode of anime so bad I had a desire to start reading akira for the first time as a palate cleanser
did they lock down services? or you just worried it won't go through
in retrospect I did it at the last minute (last month) but my renewal went through and I recieved it in a week (instead of 4-6 weeks). they were working overtime trying to get that stuff done asap imo
lol didn't feel real until the gacha game gave me the popup
of course each row was still like 100 circles each... definitely less circles than a decade ago when I first had the opportunity to go but still a pretty sizeable area compared to some of the other areas I checked out
in august, perhaps a dozen rows (at most) were touhou, and it was something like 2-3 were for the music circles, 2-3 were doujin goods, and the rest (4-6) were all-ages and R-18 doujinshi. if I had saved my map I'd be able to give you precise numbers but you could probably also just look it up lol

I listened to tears don't fall for the first time just now. I feel like even if I had heard the song 18 years ago I wouldn't think it was good. the worst part is that the intro is the hypest shit ever, but then the rest of the song betrays how cool the intro was

... though I guess the opposite is also true in that I'm willing to overlook every contrivance or convenient explanation for when something Unexpected happens
I've finished catching up to the main story now but that was just another nice example of what I like about NIKKE's writing - it doesn't dwell on explanations and it's up to the player to pay attention to what is actually being said/shown. I don't feel like an idiot having everything explained to me
But I jumped into OLD TALES first, and was pleasantly surprised when the mass-produced Abe activated a very familiar mask...
I redownloaded NIKKE because I had seen the new Scarlet skin, and I was happy to be reunited with the characters I hadn't seen since summer. There was quite a bit of main story to catch up on, since the last thing I remembered was Liveryn being instructed to retrieve the Hammering's head for Sixo.
