Storytelling/speaking is an art separate from writing. It can take a while to find your spoken voice as opposed to your written voice.
Sometimes it takes me a while to be able to lower my defenses and accept feedback. It took a few weeks, but I finally tried a CP's suggestion on my WIP and OMG I love it so much more now! #booksky #writingCommunity #Memoirists #CNF #writers

I mostly write in a cabin while the kids are at their dad's. I only keep a few changes of clothes there, so there's no big laundry pile, no teenaged athletic gear, and not as many fun craft projects to use to avoid writing. But if I'm in the zone I'll write anywhere, even defaulting to phone apps.
