Introducing the future USS Discovery NCC-2001.
Named in honour of both the XD-1 Discovery from the novel 2001 published in 1968 and the starship USS Discovery presumed lost in 2258.
In my head canon, the first production run Excelsior class.
Making a start on Icarus with the aztec pattern.

After three rounds of masking and painting, the tape has been lifted on the Echelon class USS Yorktown (whoop whoop!).
A few touch ups to address for sure but considering this was held together with tape for a good week, overall I'm very pleased.
