Every time we get info publicly confirmed about the dev. of DATV it just reminds me how much of a miracle that game is.
Ppl who sit on their ass and complain that it didn’t match their HCs, did you not see the love? The inherent sacrifice?
And despite flaws, it’s a DAMN good game. celebrate it.
I forgot what the kind of fabric is called but it doesn't matter cuz this is gonna turn out cuuuute!!

Seems to be the theme of the year for me, but I keep moving forward and finding things to look forward to. Thanks for being here and for your support through it all, I'm truly grateful! 🖤 2/2
It's been a weird several weeks - between two different kinds of assaults, going on a mini vacation, having a medical procedure - I'm looking forward to being back and hanging out on Stream again. Most of this has been unexpected and thrown a wrench in my plans. 1/2
Where is Corn Kid now? I hope he's doing well and happy.

I read her book on The Future of #Egyptology: it lays out historical moments when Egypt and its heritage became possessed by pith helmet powers. It's encouraging to see this being talked about more. Highly recommend the book and this interview! 🔗 below

I've figured it out! I might be able to start as soon as tomorrow
To celebrate mine and my fellow streamers Ambassador announcement, I'll be sharing encouragement through characters and books, shows, films, comics that help us feel more seen. Keep an eye out for more 🫶🏼 /4
TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire& invest directly into treatment and recovery.
I've admired this organization for years lemme tell ya! YEARS. Theyve saved my life multiple times. They are something I have the utmost respect for being part of, and I hope to represent their mission well./3
Now I get to share and represent more of that with you!
To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury & s**c*de. /2
I've been chosen to be part of TWLOHA's Streamer Ambassador program this year!
You have connected w me in shared stories: some not so far fetched, some that seem like they could be out of a dramatic film. But if there's anything I know, it's that we're not alone in our struggles and experiences../1
I've been wanting to look into Vtubing, so this might be a good opportunity. I'm overwhelmed with a lot of responsibilities right now so adding another thing to the list feels daunting
Thank you. I'm just so disappointed- im trying to interview for jobs while also making ends meet streaming and i really didnt need another surprise drop in my already rocky path
I'll likely have a scab/scar for a while and I'm not ready to stream like that yet, as badass as I hope the scar turns out.
Please be patient with me as I get try to comfortable with this unfortunate development.
The hits just keep coming. I got attacked by my friend's dog and she bit my face.
I know we can't always know what's going to happen with animals but it was pretty upsetting and significant.

Thank you. Im not going to let it stop me but when things like this happen, it makes my blood boil with how systemic everything is and blocks from even expressing creative joy- which has also been taken from our culture(s)!
Words are hard
that it is difficult for people to accept that the stories they've been fed are, in fact, manufactured by people from other lands extracting our resources and culture for their own gain.

I was asking for encouragement and to share in my cultural joy. As someone who is from that culture.
I'm not sure why the post got me banned. All i can think is (6)
This design is going on a pocket for a pair of shorts I am making. The other pocket will have an adaptation of a Coptic manuscript illustration involving a unicorn and our native palm tree. I offered to share it when that side was finished. (5)
Since many people do not know that Egypt has several indigenous people groups, I wanted to share along with this that I am of Coptic heritage - we aren't the only ones with direct ties to ancient times, but it is deeply part of us all the same. (4)
... is native to Egypt- something that grows, and still does, prolifically. I combined ancient paintings and modern understanding of it into the design.
Which I did by hand for hours. It was a labor of expression of pride in my heritage and ancestors. (3)
I wanted to share my first time doing something called "thread painting", a term I hadn't heard until recently. I didnt know this is what technique I used to embroider: this papyrus that i designed. If you don't know, this specific genus of papyrus (2)
No one ever expects their work to get them banned from places until it does happen and you're left in shock wondering why "inclusive" communities are not. No explanation, no warning, just a total ban.
This isn't the first time it's happened to me, or people like me. Nor is it the last.

Right? I didnt even get a warning or a message why. I dont want to believe it's racially motivated but it's hard not to go there
I can't even express my joy in a semi-educational way. I'm just a bad Arab at the end of the day to everyone else.
Didn't have getting banned from a hand-embroidery group when showing my indigenous Egyptian heritage work on my bingo card but here we are
