Had fun in the Quick 5 race.
First race, I bombed so bad and Quarth kicked my ass, and then I died in G.I. Joe so I forfeited.
Second race I finished 2nd, and still died and lost like 3-4 minutes in Metro-Cross.

My first ever subathon starts today, and these are the incentives for (hopefully) 60/40. I'm also running Battle Kid on UNFAIR mode all month as that's what kick started full-time for me.

Regarding ads (the orange screen vs blue screen):
I contacted Partner Support and Twitch said it was a temporary feature being tested, and, it since reverted to the "old screen" and furthermore, ad revenue isn't impacted nor do ads have to be manually processed by the viewer.
What is Quick 5?
It's a very short race of 5 NES games where people get a week to practice before racing. The goals are all mini and around 5 minutes or so (beat stage 2, etc). It's a very quick & accessible race, and the races themselves last around ~30 minutes.

Finally slayed the old NG2 demon, and of course. I was running it around 30s~ faster than my old PB.
Funny enough now there's a 16s (!!) save in level 5 it was so bad. 3/4 were bad and saved by a pretty solid 7.

One of the games we watched (we were watching in Italian, being in Rome) was against Great Britain. Kat actually had an easier time understanding the English, English, than she did the Italians as their regional dialects were so strong.
