And foreign money should have no place in our elections.

The DISCLOSE Act helps reform a broken system and ensure government of, by, and for the people.

For too long, politicians of both parties have defended American military operations that quickly spiraled into endless wars without clear, attainable objectives, at the cost of thousands of lives and trillions of dollars.

I voted to reassert Congress’s authority to prevent another forever war.

I’m working to ensure that the State Department is using all resources at its disposal, including charter flights, to help Americans in the Middle East return home.

These issues were predictable, and the lack of clear preparation and communication to Americans abroad is unacceptable.

Committing American troops to war in Iran is a decision that should require serious deliberation and a vote by the people’s representatives.

I will support a War Powers resolution to restore the authority of Congress and prevent the President from entangling America into another endless war.

I helped secure federal funds for this through my office’s community-driven process. Projects like this are how we ensure NH is safe and strong.

Donald Trump’s new 10% global tariff comes into effect US president had said he would raise levy to 15% after last week’s supreme court ruling

Tariffs are a tax that Americans are paying for every day.

Instead of allowing working families, seniors, and small businesses relief after his illegal tariffs were struck down by the Supreme Court, the President has chosen to put more taxes on the American people.

VA to formally rescind controversial disability ratings rule A policy requiring VA medical examiners to include effects of medication in assigning disability ratings is expected to be formally rescinded on Feb. 27.

Today veterans won.

After push back from veterans, Veteran Service Organizations, and my colleagues and I, VA is not moving forward with their new disability ratings rule that would have weakened veterans’ benefits.

I’ll continue to fight for veterans and defend their earned benefits.

Sat down with NH community health center leaders to discuss ways to strengthen access to telehealth and support our essential health care workforce.

I was honored to receive their 2026 Distinguished Community Health Center Advocate Award. I'll keep working to protect and expand health care access.

Merrimack officials relieved ICE warehouse plans nixed Elected officials reacted with a sense of relief Tuesday as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) canceled its plans to open a detention center in Merrimack.

We heard from more than 11,000 Granite Staters – over 90% of survey respondents – opposed to the taxpayer-funded ICE facility in Merrimack.

This plan has been stopped, and I’ll keep fighting to ensure local voices are heard and we get full transparency and accountability from this administration.

Pappas Madison tour shines light on food need MADISON — Food pantry representatives from across Carroll County and around the state gathered last Friday at the Madison Food Pantry to speak with U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas about mounting

I’m grateful for all our food pantries do to serve people in need across the state.

As food insecurity remains a significant concern and rising costs for groceries are felt by too many, I met with food pantry directors in Carroll County to hear from those on the ground. Read about it. ⬇️

We must continue to strengthen and improve VA services for veterans, including dental care, and fight against efforts to dismantle the workforce and hurt veterans’ benefits.

Met with the Winter family as part of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer’s Hill day. They shared their story with me about their son Jack’s battle with leukemia and the critical need for cancer research, support, and care.

I’m grateful for their advocacy for all kids and families going through this.

I am bringing Hillsborough County Commissioner Toni Pappas as my SOTU guest.

I’m working alongside Commissioner Pappas to safeguard our county nursing homes from cuts to Medicaid. Washington should follow NH’s lead in putting aside partisanship to work for the people.

Plan for ICE detention center in Merrimack has been scrapped, governor says After two months of speculation, protests and public debate, the Department of Homeland Security is moving on from plans for an immigrant detention facility in Merrimack, WMUR was first to report on…

Stopping this ICE facility was a grassroots effort headed by local leaders and Merrimack residents and strengthened by thousands of Granite Staters who made their voices heard.

I’ll continue to demand transparency & accountability from this administration and push back against overreach of power.

It is completely unacceptable for the Trump administration to bypass local leaders throughout this process.

I’m working to require the federal government to get local approval before this or any similar proposal moves forward.

I met with Jen Goodale of MOAA to discuss my bipartisan GUARD VA Benefits Act, which will reinstate criminal penalties for unaccredited, predatory claim sharks that rip off veterans of their earned benefits under the guise of help.

It’s my and their priority to get this commonsense bill passed.

I sat down with local health care leaders and advocates to talk about the importance of telehealth for families and providers in our state.

My bipartisan Protecting Rural Telehealth Access Act will help protect and strengthen telehealth access and services.

U.S. women’s hockey star from New Hampshire named Olympics tournament MVP Salem's Caroline Harvey has been named the MVP of the women's hockey tournament at the Winter Olympics in Milan.

Great job all around by Team USA – it’s been incredible to watch!

And congratulations to New Hampshire’s Caroline Harvey on earning a gold medal at the Winter Olympics and being named MVP.
