October 2024, and was followed a few days later by Xcode 16.2 beta 1. Xcode 16.1 didn't have its full release until about a week after that (and was identical to the RC). A similar situation occurred with the releases of Xcode 14.0.1 and 14.1.So while this is definitely unusual, it's not (2/3)
