Yesterday I presented one of my two PhD projects - I showed my work on Simulations of Light Dark Matter model searches with the DarkMESA Experiment, an upcoming detector experiment in Mainz. I had so much fun and I can't wait to talk more about it today at the poster session!

I really like that we have career orientation inputs from both people who stayed in academia and people who went for industry. It was quite cool to discuss pro's & con's for either way and get a broader view of opportunities for post-PhD life. The EINN Pre-conference workshop is amazing!

I had a lovely first evening in Paphos with the other students from Mainz University! We had a nice dinner, ice cream, walked along the marina and got to pet the hotel cat! Incredibly grateful for these experiences. Can't wait for the pre-conference to start tomorrow! 😍✨

Da kann ich nur meine absoluten Lieblingsbücher empfehlen (die hat mein Vater vorgelesen) - Momo und Die unendliche Geschichte, beide von Michael Ende.

Auch schön: Der geheime Schlüssel zum Universum (Lucy & Stephen Hawking), ein wunderschönes Buch, was auch mein Vater liebt!
