Fun idea: Big non-fiction books about economics, history, etc. should be interspliced with short stories set in that world. Imagine reading a tome about the financial crash of 1929 and suddenly there's a great one-act play set in Brooklyn at that time.
I hate to admit it, but Facebook has the best video controls of any social. You can play/pause, skip ahead, and adjust the volume, not just mute/unmute.

I was in NJ. The snow was a 5' wall against our sliding patio doors.
3.5 days off from school, where we maybe would get 1 for a big snowfall. Rain helped melt it that week and snowplows could do their thing. Nothing like it since.
I would've loved to see a map like this before the Blizzard of '96. I remember that absolutely burying _the entire eastern seaboard_ in 3 feet of snow. Took us days to dig out.

I feel like a good use of AI would be to create a #BlackMirror -style internet blocker that hides all mentions of a former employer in news, job boards, ads, etc. You'd think LinkedIn, of all places, would have that as an option — cut all ties!
That's funny you mention names because even after watching 2.5 seasons, I couldn't tell you the name of ONE character. In one ear and out the other. To me, that's the sign of bad screenwriting and content that is massively unengaging.
I'm a nerd, I remember names! But only if I give a shit.
I lost interest in that one, as well as Rings of Power, but the Bosch seres, as well as The Expanse, and a few others, show it's possible for them to back great projects.
