We need to have a serious conversation in 2016.

President Trump said that we obliterated Iran's nuclear capability several months ago. Yet we attacked Iran to make sure they didn't develop nuclear weapons. Was trump lying before that we obliterated their capability or today when he said we had to attack them (without Congtessiobal approval).

My European friends and clients started saying WTF in 2016 when the Republicans nominated a morally bankrupt man-child to be a candidate.

The middle class decided to buy bigger houses. The government stopped subsidizing the cost of state university tuition. Companies stopped providing pensions.

According to Senator Husted (R-OH) interviewed this morning in Columbus, about 220 actually bad people have been arrested. I do not understand using that to argue ICE is doing good work. Shooting one person for every 70 arrested, killing 1 for every 110 arrested is complete and total failure.

The 2nd Amendment, "Don't Tread On Me" crowd should be f***ing angry that the government is saying that an American citizen exercising his 1st Amendmdnt rights is not allowed to exercise his 2nd Amendment rights and can be denied his 4th Amendent rights.

My BS in Math cost ~ $7500 in 1985. My son's BS in Math at the same stste university cost nearly $50,000 30 years later. The state stopped investing in education. Ohio covered 2/3 of my tuition and close to none of my son's. I was a good investment.

I would enthusiastically support basic universal income for adults (funded by a tiny tax on the uber-rich) while leaving the minimum wage alone for kids who work to make gas money.

Sounds like those natural resources belonging to Greenland represent a business opportunity that might be called "uninvestable."

PS - About 25 years ago The Weekly Standard published a very good article about the difference between the two major parties. Generally, the GOP was the party that followed the rules. The DNC was the party that wanted outcomes to be fair. Times have changed and outcomes have gotten much less fair.

It is insane, though to review this properly, it should have a vertical logarithmic scale. Healthy econokic growth is exponential, not linear.
