It's been while since I've posted a thing so here's a neat bench I saw on a hike! Can verify the view from it was amazing. I've been busy with various summer activities and ramping up triathlon training but I'll try and be more active here when I can!

I drove down from Denver to Santa Fe for an extended weekend to explore a bit! I'm sure it's a surprise that I spent my mornings in the local mountains/forest nearby 😎

Already got a trip planned this year to go back to the Elk Mountains here in Colorado! It's tough to beat the views there! Some of the trails are a bit steep though...

Just finished getting setup for the weekend! Gonna try and create more complicated sounds going forward. Also, my dog makes an appearance here trying to remind me not to forget about going on a post-work walk to the park...

Yep, I did the exact same thing for the same reason a while back! Percussion instrumentation is probably going to drive me crazy for similar reasons. Though I don't think I can justify getting a new drum kit... Or maybe I can...

Thanks! I ended up swapping out the boss blues driver for the electro-harmonix soul food on the pedalboard. I think it let the reverb come through a bit better. Though if I think too hard about it I'll probs never get anything done 😅

Thanks! It'll def be neat for sure. I think I can cleanup the guitar stuff alright. Figuring out keys, bass, etc. will be a journey though 😅

Here's a little something from practice today! I was trying to figure out timing on a weird transition. Anyways, I've decided this piece is going to be my project this week. Going to try and actually complete a thing I wrote! This track is called By The Sea.

That's a good comparison! The canyon views along the way were really something. And on top of that, the landscape changes on the drive from mountains -> canyons -> desert -> beach was also quite the journey!

Well, I survived my road trip! Driving from Colorado to the west coast def provides a lot of scenic views. Here are a couple pics from a section of the drive where you enter this cool looking canyon (I think in or near Utah?).
