Teacup Lab is a UX research consultancy working with global brands. 🎯 At SkincAIr they will be making sure the SkincAIr App is culturally relevant, user-friendly, and grounded in the everyday realities of frontline healthcare workers.

6⃣ Education and Knowledge transfer to frontline healthcare workers.
SkincAIr provides frontline health workers with two key functionalities: AI-driven diagnostic support for identifying skin NTDs, & educational resources within the app.

Scabies is more than an itch. It causes infections, sleep loss, stigma, and is still widespread in Sub-Saharan Africa.

5⃣ Reduce transmission:
By shortening exposure times through improved detection methods, SkincAIr aims to reduce the transmission rates of skin #NTDs transmitted from person to person.

😍SkincAIr partners Centre Hospitalier de l'Ordre de Malte Dakar CHOM & Sherwood met with Ndeye Mbacke Kane, the coordinator of the National Programme against NTDs and President of the ESPEN OMS directive committee, to receive an award in recognition of their efforts to combat NTDs in Senegal.

🚀 SkincAIr is presented at classes at the @upm.es

On Friday, researcher Mario Bravo participated at Dr Celia Fernández's 'Ethical and Social Aspects' class to introduce #SkincAIr to the students. He linked the project to topics covered in the course, such as professional responsibility and privacy.

Today, the SkincAIr consortium held its first 💫Quarterly Meeting💫 of the year. This online meeting was an opportunity to review progress, identify potential risks, as well as plan next steps to achieve our objectives.

2⃣ Real-time epidemiologic surveillance:
We will geolocate each suspected case and generate heat maps to track skin NTDs by country.
💡This enables real time #DataAnalysis to identify hotspots = faster interventions & more efficient allocation of resources.
