100%. I think him announcing his departure when the Sporting Director was only in a temporary role is the key here though. At that point, no long term contracts were ever going to be signed, hence we are here now. Not sure that’s his fault, could owners not have got a permanent SD sorted earlier?
I don’t know how anyone could make an informed opinion on this. We have no idea who was responsible for what, who was allowed to do what, who has & hasn’t been offered something, held talks etc. The only thing to ‘blame’ Jurgen for here is saying he was leaving & you can’t really blame him for that.
