Just (right now!) had a student tell other students to use a Couchy sequence.
To be fair, though, I probably butcher more names in my everyday reading than I get right.

A mathematician sits at their desk taking a phone call. Panel 1: "Hello, math department. Mathematician speaking." Panel 2: "What's that? You're making a reboot of The Brady Bunch?" Panel 3: "Well that's all great, but what do you need me for?" Panel 4: "Ah, I see. Seventeen people." Panel 5: "I'll need a research team and 10 years." Panel 6: A picture of 17 Brady family members in squares, packed in the outer square using the best packing currently proven in mathematics.
This gave me a good chuckle. I will strive to answer all phone calls as in the first panel from now on. thejenkinscomic.wordpress.com/2024/12/01/b...

Also, shout-out to my favorite mathematician, @chrisstaecker.bsky.social ! Good to "see" you here. Give him a follow if you haven't already.
I'm overwhelmed by the number of awesome people following me here 💙. I'm not exactly a power user, but I'll do my best to fill your feeds with a bit of fun food for thought here and there.
