I knew it from D&D as a melee weapon, which made me very confused about the image they were trying to project.
I thought there is/was a rule that games could only be in one nextfest? Maybe that changed. (or devs had their demos out but not officially part of nextfest maybe)
Achievement stats for La-Mulana: "Welcome to La-Mulana," "Watch Where You're Whipping," and "Once you read it, you can never go back" were unlocked in November 2016, and "Twin-Headed Snake" (for beating what is for many players the first boss) was unlocked in February 2026.
I took a little while to get started on La-Mulana.
My question was going to be if she had a killer, since I don't think the series has recurring/iconic villains? You could play as a tiger or a pit of spikes.
the "this generation was the first to be raised by" meme format of "x taught me y" except the boy has four eyes and is blue (play outer wilds you'll get this) and the "raised by" has the outer wilds logo below it. for each of the "x taught me y" lines, the x is a stretched image of a planet from outer wilds and the y is redacted because spoilers. one of the y clauses reads "autopilot is a fuck". play it so you know. at the end, the last line says "and i" followed by two black boxes because again it's redacted for spoilers just go play it.
