This trip symbolized a lot for me. It was proof I could do it all on my own. It was proof that I could have the time of my life on my own. It was proof that all I need in my life is myself. It was proof that I am charging forward into a new, better chapter of my life.

Turns out, the love of my life was myself all along.

February 17th also marked my first day traveling alone in Italy. I always dreamed of visiting Italy with the love of my life. My ex and I often talked about going together someday. To share the food, sights, and culture of Italy with the person I loved most was my number one travel bucket list item

February 17th marked the start of the Lunar New Year. It marked the end of the wood snake year and shedding what is not right for us. & it marked the start of the fire horse year and charging forward into rebirth after everything had been shed.
