In 1950, the Council of Europe created the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The UK signed and was the first country to adopt it into its laws. Clement Attlee (Labour) was the Prime Minister at this time. This formed the basis of the Human Rights Act.

The EHRC continues their attack on the Trans Community. They are now publicly pushing to ban trans people from public places.
