I met my first internet friend on IRC around 1993/94. I had a floor mate that wrangled me a login to a system I wasn't supposed to have access to. In 1994 I traveled to California to meet this friend. Everyone assumed I would be murdered.
He and I are still friends.
It's one of the reasons I like keeping office hours. My colleagues think it's strange that I 'hang around' when I don't have patients booked, but it does helpt to get work done!

hey @guelph.ca, if a pedestrian light counts down, but then the traffic signal doesn't turn red, the walk sign should come back. Please fix the Baker St. pedestrian light to avoid confusion. "Report a Problem" says it's fixed (when I last reported it) but I promise you, it is not.
